The Canon PowerShot G9 X Mark II is a step-up model featuring a 1.0- inch, 20.2-megapixel CMOS sensor, DIGIC 7 image processor, improved subject tracking and scene detection. For social network-sharing convenience the camera is the first PowerShot model equipped with Bluetooth Smart for easy pairing with a compatible smartphone or tablet.
The lens is a f/2-4.9, 3x optical zoom (28-84 mm equivalent).
Other features include in-camera RAW conversion feature and improved Time-Lapse Movie Mode, built-in Wi-Fi and NFC, 3.0-inch touch panel LCD, Full HD, Dynamic IS and Time-Lapse Movie video functions, along with continuous shooting speeds of up to 8.2 fps (in JPEG and RAW).
The Canon PowerShot G9 X Mark II is scheduled to be available in February, for an estimated retail price of $649.99.
