Leica XThe made-in-Germany Leica X features a new Leica Summilux 23 mm f/1.7 ASPH. lens (35 mm equivalent, 10 elements in 8 groups with two aspherical elements) and 16.5-megapixel APS-C sensor.

The company says the lens is almost completely insensitive to flare and ghosting effects and delivers bright, clear and incredibly sharp photos. Closest focusing is 0.2 m.

The front and rear body shells are made of magnesium and the top deck and baseplate from anodized aluminum, with premium leather trim.

The camera is available as a black version with colour-matched leather trim or as silver with brown leather trim.

Video recording is full-HD at 1920 × 1080 pixels and 30 frames per second, in MP4 format.

Specifications include: Focusing options of 1-point, 11-point, spot, face detection; program (P), aperture priority (A) and manual (M) modes; smart multi-segment metering, centre-weighted metering, spot metering; sensitivity of ISO 100-12,500; continues shooting up to 5 fps; multiple film modes; built-in flash; hot shoe; 3-inch LCD; Adobe Photoshop Lightroom free download after product registration.
